Cyber specialists managed to hit brokerage applications and ATMs. The hacker attack itself began on July 23 and managed to “hack” Alfa Bank, SberBank, Raiffeisen Bank, VTB Bank, RSHB Bank, Rosbank, Gazprombank, T-Bank and iBank. This was reported on July 27 by Obshchestvennoye, citing an informed source.
The brokerage application “T-investments” was also affected. Yesterday, Russia raised key rates to 18%, so now it is impossible to carry out any banking operations due to lack of access to services, which leads to loss of funds by the population.
In addition, the GUR attacked the bank “Dom.rf”.
Let us recall that in January, cyber volunteers from the BO Team group carried out an attack on the Far Eastern research center for space hydrometeorology Planeta, which receives and processes data from satellites and also provides the corresponding products to more than 50 government entities, primarily the military.
