Explosions continued to be heard in the air even an hour after the air raid warning was lifted, local residents reported.
The Ministry of Defense of Russia and the Governor of the Bryansk Region of the Russian Federation Alexander Bogomaz on Telegram on Saturday, July 27, announced a massive attack by alleged Ukrainian UAVs.
According to Bogomaz, several municipal districts of the Bryansk region were subjected to a mass attack.
“Within an hour, units of the Russian Ministry of Defense destroyed twelve aircraft-type aircraft,” he wrote.
At the same time, the Russian governor added that as a result of the attack, “there were no casualties or damage,” but said that “emergency and operational services are working on the ground.”
The Russian Ministry of Defense reported that the air attack lasted more than an hour, but this department said that they allegedly shot down 21 Ukrainian drones.
Later, RosSMI, citing the governor, reported that six UAVs were also allegedly shot down in the sky over the Kursk region.
In the Rostov region, explosions were heard in the area of the Millerovo military airport. As a result of the drone attack, fires broke out in the region, social networks reported. Fires were recorded in the area of the runway and parking lots of Russian aircraft at Millerovo. There are also reports online of explosions near the village of Dolotinka and the oil depot area.
