Currently, intelligence services and law enforcement forces are trying to find and punish those who commit criminal acts.
Acting French Prime Minister Gabriel Attal commented for the first time on recent incidents on several train lines around Paris, calling them sabotage. He revealed this at Platform X on Friday, July 26.
Attal noted that in the early hours of the morning coordinated actions of sabotage on SNCF infrastructure were prepared and carried out. This had significant and serious consequences for the rail network.
He expressed support for the services working to eliminate the consequences and for fellow citizens whose plans were disrupted due to these acts of sabotage.
He also said that intelligence services and law enforcement forces are working to find and punish those who commit criminal acts.
Let’s recall that acts of rail vandalism in the French capital Paris caused delays in high-speed trains on the day of the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games.
Earlier, a Russian national was detained in the French capital Paris this weekend. The detainee is suspected of preparing some actions to disrupt the political situation during the Olympic Games.
