The pace of mobilization in Ukraine has increased. There is no urgent need to lower the draft age, the Defense Ministry claims.

We have indicators that differ significantly from those that were at the end of winter or the beginning of spring. The main thing is that this pace is not lost, and that there really is a systematic replenishment. 4.6 million conscripts have updated their data. This already indicates that there is a base that can be worked with, – said Defense Ministry spokesman Dmitry Lazutkin.
According to Lazutkin, the pace of mobilization has changed compared to the beginning of the full-scale invasion.
If at first each person made a responsible but emotional decision for themselves, now the nature of these decisions has changed. People weigh up, consciously look for a unit, a team, a position and thus determine their fate. For each person, this decision is very difficult, he says.
The Defense Ministry spokesman noted that the number of people who have updated their military registration data currently significantly exceeds the current needs of the military.
