The Air Force’s radio-technical troops detected and accompanied 22 “shahids”. 20 of them were shot down by air defense in the Kherson, Sumy, Zhitomir and Chernihiv regions.
The air attack was repelled by mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, anti-aircraft missile troops and electronic warfare units of the Air Force. In addition, the enemy struck Donbas with an Iskander-M ballistic missile from the Rostov Region.
Another attack by Russian “shahids” took place in Nizhyn.
There was a hit on an infrastructure facility and a residential dormitory, a civilian was injured, says the head of the Chernihiv police department, Vyacheslav Chaus.
In addition, at night Russian UAVs hit energy facilities in the Chernihiv and Zhitomir regions – “Ukrenergo”.
