The High Anti-Corruption Court (HACC) has confiscated a Vinnytsia household chemicals plant controlled by Russians.

As the Anti-Corruption Action Center writes, the Anti-Corruption Court granted the Ministry of Justice’s application to recover the Vinnitsabytkhim plant, which belonged to the Russian company Nevskaya Kosmetika, for the benefit of the state.

This is a well-known manufacturer of children’s cosmetics and household chemicals, in particular such brands as Ushasty Nyan, Mister Chister, Novy Zhemchug and many others.

Since 2006, the plant has been owned by a Russian business, including the oligarch and member of the United Russia party Vladimir Plesovskikh.

After the full-scale invasion began, the plant was seized and then handed over to the management of Ukrainian businessmen from the Afina group. They believe that the seizure of the enterprise as state property could stop production for six months.

The court’s decision can be appealed to the Appeals Chamber of the HACC.

Most of the confiscated assets belonging to Russians or their accomplices are to be sold at open auctions. Earlier, the Borispol plant PentaPak, owned by the Russian-Greek oligarch Ivan Savvida, was privatized under such a procedure.
