Sikorsky noted that the issue of using Western equipment to attack Russia was also discussed for a long time, in particular, about Leopard tanks, equipment in general and F-16 fighters.
Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski said Ukraine would receive permission from its allies to strike targets inside Russia with Western weapons, despite ongoing discussions. The Polish minister spoke about this in an interview with RMF24.
Sikorsky noted that the issue of using Western equipment to attack Russia has been discussed many times, particularly in relation to Leopard tanks, equipment in general and F-16 fighters.
The Polish minister is convinced that Ukraine should be given the opportunity to attack airfields and other important targets on Russian territory.
He also dismissed concerns among Western politicians about the possible consequences, saying that fear of Vladimir Putin’s reaction should not prevent NATO from making decisions.
Earlier, Sikorsky called on European Union countries to lift restrictions on Ukraine’s use of long-range weapons supplied to it.
As we have already written, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg believes that Ukraine has the right to use weapons provided by its allies to strike legitimate military targets on Russian territory.
