The National Police confirmed that they are examining the video published the previous day by Russian media sources.
Law enforcement officials are examining a video previously circulated by Russian media about the killing of Ukrainian linguist and former deputy Irina Farion. We are talking about a publication that indicates the so-called “involvement of Russian neo-Nazis” in this crime. This was stated by the representative of the National Police of Ukraine Elena Berezhnaya in a commentary to RBC-Ukraine.
“Yes, the police are reviewing the video and studying it to see if it is of interest to the investigation,” he said.
We remind you that the Russian neo-Nazi group NS/WP claims responsibility for the murder of Irina Farion in Lviv. The Russian Telegram channel ASTRA wrote about it, positioning itself as an “independent publication without censorship.” As evidence of their involvement in the murder, the group presented a fragment of a video purportedly showing the moment of the attack on Farion.
We remind you that on the night of July 19, Irina Farion was wounded in the head from a gun near her home in Lviv. The ex-deputy was taken to the hospital, but doctors could not save his life due to his serious injuries.
