On the night of July 25, 2024, the occupiers attacked with Shahed-type strike UAVs from Cape Chauda, Crimea and Primorsko-Akhtarsk – Russian Federation.

This night, the enemy used 38 Shahed-131/136 attack UAVs, attacking Ukrainian infrastructure facilities in several directions, in particular the south of Odessa region and the central regions of Ukraine.
The air attack was repelled by anti-aircraft missile troops and electronic warfare units of the Air Force, as well as a crew of mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
As a result of the anti-aircraft battle, 25 attack UAVs were shot down. Three more “shaheds” were lost after crossing the state border with Romania.
Air defense operated in Odessa, Kherson, Nikolaev, Kyiv, Sumy, Zhitomir and Cherkasy regions.
At night, the Russian army attacked Vilkovo in Odessa Oblast with 11 “shahedeen”. According to the RVA, port infrastructure facilities and a private house were damaged, where two people were injured. One of them was hospitalized in a medical facility in a moderate condition.
The head of the Odessa OVA Oleg Kiper specified that as a result of the attack, the administrative building was partially destroyed, followed by a fire. The fire was extinguished by the State Emergency Service workers.
