This was reported by the official page of the “Come Back Alive” foundation on Telegram.
The Russian complex was destroyed 30 km south of the city of Donetsk, where it was supposed to provide air defense for enemy units.
Thanks to the prompt actions of the Shadow unit’s aerial reconnaissance, the system was discovered and its location coordinates were transmitted to one of the artillery units.
Two missiles were used to destroy the Russian Pantsir S-1. The first missile damaged it, and the second caused such damage that it caused a fire in the anti-aircraft module and the entire system.
After the second missile hit, the crew of the complex abandoned the vehicle and began running across the fields towards their own positions.
Using the M31 precision-guided missile, the HIMARS rocket systems enable the Defence Forces to destroy Russian air defence systems at ranges of over 50km.
It should be noted that the Shark UAV, purchased by the Come Back Alive charity foundation, was used to detect and correct the fire.
