Turkish intelligence services have arrested a suspect in the bombing of a Russian military intelligence (GRU) officer in Moscow. This was announced by Turkish Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya on social network X on Wednesday, July 24.
According to him, this morning the representatives of the Russian division of Interpol made the corresponding request. Suspect Evgeny Serebryakov arrived today on a plane from Moscow to the Turkish resort town of Bodrum.
“In this regard, the necessary coordination was ensured with the Intelligence Directorate, Interpol/Europol Department, MIT Directorate, Immigration Directorate, Counter-Terrorism Department and Mugla Provincial Police Department, as well as identification data and photographs. The suspect was found. The man was detained today in Our Mugla provincial police units are cheerful,” Yerlikaya wrote and added a video of the suspect’s detention.
