Deliveries will continue at the predicted pace in the coming months by the end of the year, about 500 thousand units of 155 mm ammunition will be delivered to the Ukrainian army.
Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala said that the Czech Republic will provide Ukraine with approximately 500 thousand ammunitions by the end of 2024 as part of its initiative. Ukrinform reported this.
“Deliveries will continue at the predicted pace in the coming months by the end of the year, about 500 thousand units of 155 mm ammunition will be delivered to the Ukrainian army,” said Fiala.
The Prime Minister assured that at the same time, the Czech Republic already supplies hundreds of thousands of large-caliber ammunition of other types every year.
It was previously reported that Ukraine will have another 100 thousand ammunition in July and August thanks to the Czech initiative. In general, Prague has enough funds to transfer 500 thousand shells to Kyiv by the end of the year.
Let’s recall that on June 25, Prime Minister Petr Fiala announced that the Czech Republic supplied Ukraine with the first batch of artillery shells in accordance with the Czech aid program to Kyiv.
