According to open data, military unit 33790 is the 89th center for satellite communications with the Russian Federation.
The explosion occurred in the parking lot near the multi-storey building where the serviceman lived when he was getting into his car. It is alleged that the explosive device was installed in the car in advance under the driver’s seat.
In particular, a video has appeared on social networks, which probably shows the moment when explosives were installed at night by an unknown man.
According to eyewitnesses, Torgashov’s feet were torn off, and his wife’s face was cut by debris.
Torgashov and his wife were pulled out of the exploded car by passersby, who provided first aid.
Advisor to the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Mykhailo Podolyak has already stated that Kyiv has nothing to do with this explosion.
As I understand it, there was faulty equipment there. Of course, it had nothing to do with it, he noted in a comment to journalists.
