Its technical maintenance was completed more than 10 days ahead of schedule, the press service of Ukrenergo reported.
This will add about 1,000 MW of additional capacity to the energy system. This will significantly strengthen the energy system and, of course, reduce the deficit, – Deputy Minister of Energy Svetlana Grinchuk noted on air of the national telethon.
Today, Ukraine has reduced its electricity consumption restrictions schedules:
- from 09.30 to 16.00, power outages have been cancelled in Kyiv and the Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Dnepropetrovsk, Donetsk, Kirovograd, Zaporizhia, Kharkov, Sumy, Poltava (partially), Vinnytsia and Khmelnytsky regions;
- From 8.20 to 18.00, power outages have been cancelled in Lviv, Rivne, Volyn, Ivano-Frankivsk, Zakarpattia, Ternopil, Chernivtsi, Kherson, Mykolaiv and Odessa regions.
