The Republican presidential candidate said he “would be willing to host more than one debate.”
Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has announced his willingness to debate Vice President Kamala Harris, his likely rival. Trump said this in a statement, Politico reports.
The next debate, scheduled for September 10, will be on ABC News, although Trump recently pushed to host the debate on Fox News. However, in a call to reporters, he said he would participate in the debate with Harris, regardless of whether it took place on ABC.
Trump also assured that he “would be willing to hold more than one debate” and added that he was “not happy with ABC,” which seemed to him to be “more favorable to Joe Biden and Harris.”
He also pointed out that “the debate is important for the presidential race.”
“I think whether you’re the Democratic or Republican nominee, you have an obligation to debate,” Trump said.
Let’s remember that Kamala Harris, in a meeting at her headquarters on Monday, July 22, said how she would deal with Donald Trump.
