According to him, attention was paid to the ability to strike behind the front line. We analyzed the effectiveness of Ukrainian drones of various types, as well as Russian tactics regarding drones. The effectiveness of electronic warfare and other methods of combating UAVs was evaluated.
“Our missile program is actively working to reduce dependence on the supply of missiles from partners, including for air defense,” Zelensky emphasized.
He added that the head of the Ministry of Strategic Industry Alexander Kamyshin, First Deputy Minister of Defense Ivan Gavrilyuk and Deputy Prime Minister Mikhail Fedorov reported on this topic.
Earlier, the media reported that Ukraine had started production of high-precision missiles and air defense systems. The missiles are apparently capable of traveling more than 600 kilometers, and the air defense systems are similar to the Western NASAMS anti-aircraft missile system.
