Krotevich reported that on June 27 he received a response from the DBR, where he was told that his statement on Sodol would be added to the existing case, which indirectly examines the actions of the command of the Khortytsia OSUV. The Chief of Staff believes that the DBR is violating the law with this and calls such behavior by the department “deliberate inaction.”
Bogdan Krotevich also noted that the State Bureau of Investigation did not call him to testify, although he asked for this in his letter.
These actions, as well as communications from different people and some calls, made it clear to me that the order from above was “not to proceed with this matter,” Krotevich wrote.
The chief of staff of Azov filed a complaint against the State Security Service on July 4; its consideration was scheduled for August 19.
He killed more Ukrainian soldiers than any Russian general, this is how the deputy commander of the Azov Brigade previously described Lieutenant General Yuriy Sodol.
The serviceman filed a complaint with the State Security Service, in which he asked to check the general for collaboration with the enemy and accused Sodol of incompetent command, which led to the loss of territory.
Following Krotevich’s statement, Sodol was dismissed from his post as commander of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, but he retained his position as commander of the Joint Forces Command “Khortytsya”.
