The US President intends to continue serving as President until the next election.
American leader Joe Biden will not resign early and will remain president until the end of his term. The politician told X on Monday, July 22.
“We are the United States of America, and there’s nothing we can’t do if we do it together,” Biden wrote.
The US President said “we just have to remember who we are.”
“I have dedicated my presidency to prove that, and I will continue to do so today, tomorrow and every day as long as I have the honor of being your president,” Biden said.
Let’s remember that on July 21, Biden announced that he was withdrawing from the election. This happened after pressure from Democrats after a disastrous debate with US Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump.
In his speech, Biden proposed Vice President Kamala Harris as the Democratic candidate for president. Some Republicans have called on Biden to resign.
