In national polls, Trump leads Harris by just two points – 47% support to 45%.
The ratings of Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump and Kamala Harris, who may become the candidate of the Democratic Party, are almost identical. This is confirmed by the latest polls in the United States, CNN reported on Monday, July 22.
The network analyzed data from six recent nonpartisan national voter surveys in the United States, in which respondents were asked to vote for Harris and Trump in the upcoming presidential election.
On average, according to the last six polls, Trump has 48% support, Harris – 47%.
The survey was conducted after unsuccessful debates for current US President Joe Biden at the end of June, and only one after the assassination attempt on Trump on July 13.
It can be recalled that on July 21, Biden announced that he would end his election campaign and that he was supporting Vice President Kamala Harris to run in his place.
The number of Democratic leaders who have pledged their support for Harris continues to grow after President Biden endorsed his candidacy.
