The Speaker of the US House of Representatives, Mike Johnson, said that Donald Trump, if elected US President, could show strength and end Russia’s war against Ukraine with a phone call. ABC News reports.
“I am very confident that President Trump will be able to end this conflict because he will show strength. We keep the peace with force. We have not had that in three and a half years of the Biden administration. This is the exact opposite.” he says.
Johnson recalled Trump’s statement that Russia had not invaded Ukraine during his administration.
“We don’t have a conflict with Israel, a war with Israel, like we have now, because Iran has been strengthened under Biden. We don’t have China acting provocatively like they are now, around the world… Trump is capable pick up the phone and express threats and requests to opponents around the world, which they pay attention to because they fear him to a certain extent,” said the Speaker of the US House of Representatives Mike Johnson.
