The search for the missing Robinson helicopter began on July 19, after the emergency beacon was activated.
The Robinson helicopter, which was carrying three Russian FSB officers and went missing in Yakutia after the emergency beacon was activated on July 19, was found to have crashed. The East Siberian Transport Prosecutor’s Office of the Russian Federation reported this on its Telegram channel.
“As a result of search and rescue operations, the Robinson aircraft was found in a completely destroyed state. The bodies of the pilot and three passengers were found,” the statement said.
The Robinson helicopter disappeared on the Aldan-Uchursky ridge on July 19.
According to media reports, a pilot and three FSB officers were on board.
As is known, aircraft accidents have become more frequent in the Russian Federation against the backdrop of sanctions limiting Russians’ access to Western technologies. We are talking about the lack of necessary parts that the Russian Federation used to import from Western countries. In particular, a sports plane crashed in Russian Tatarstan, killing three people.
We previously wrote that there was a search for a Robinson R44II helicopter in the Russian Republic of Yakutia. The helicopter disappeared after the emergency beacon was activated in the Aldan region.
