The President of Ukraine refused to name the exact number of losses, because then “the Russians will know all the information.”
Ukraine has yet to release information on military casualties, but so far the numbers have not gone down. President Vladimir Zelensky stated this in an interview with the BBC.
Speaking about the losses in the Armed Forces of Ukraine at the front, the head of state said that every day he sees changes in the number of dead.
“I know how many people we lose every day. This is a very important issue for me, unfortunately, these changes every day and they do not become smaller.
The president refused to name the exact number of losses, because then “the Russians will know all the information.”
Answering the question of how long Ukraine can sustain the losses, Zelensky replied that it mainly depends on the morale of the military, as well as the morale of the people who work so that the military has money and salaries.
“It depends on the unity between the military and civilians in Ukraine,” the Ukrainian leader stressed.
Zelensky said that everything is being done to minimize losses on the Ukrainian side.
“Therefore, the difference between the dead and wounded between us and the Russians is huge if we have one killed for every 6-8 wounded, then they have every third, every second This indicates that they are not fighting for the safety of their people, they leave them on the battlefield,” the president said.
We remind you that in the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian Armed Forces liquidated 1,110 invaders. Since the start of the massive invasion, the Russian army has lost approximately 566,710 people.
