An investigation before the official negligence trial was launched, which led to serious consequences.
The prosecutor’s office will review the actions of officials of the Amstor shopping center in Kremenchug, Poltava region, who did not provide evacuation during Russia’s missile attack, which led to fire and deaths of people. This was reported by the Attorney General’s Office.
It was noted that a pre-trial investigation was launched into official negligence, which involves serious consequences (part 2 of article 367 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). During the investigation, the actions of Kremenchug shopping center officials who took measures for the civil protection of workers and visitors to the center, who were destroyed during the enemy missile attack, will be reviewed.
It will be recalled that yesterday, June 27, Russian missiles hit Kremenchug. One of them hit the Amstor mall and caused a powerful fire that destroyed the building. So far, 18 people are known to have died, 21 people are considered missing, and about 60 have been injured.
The Russian Ministry of Defense confirmed the attack on Kremenchug using “precision weapons”, but denied the fact that it was carried out at the mall.
