US President Joe Biden is slowly recovering from Covid-19, which he recently contracted. Some symptoms of the disease still do not go away. This was reported by the White House press service in connection with Biden’s personal physician, Kevin O’Koner.
It was noted that the American leader still felt a slight cough and hoarseness. Biden continues to take the drug Paxlovid.
“Pulse, blood pressure, respiratory rate and temperature remain completely normal. Blood oxygen saturation continues to be good. His lungs remain clear,” the doctor’s letter said.
Despite his illness, Biden continues to carry out his presidential duties.
We remind you that on July 18, Biden received a positive test for the coronavirus. The US President is self-isolating at his home in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. This is not the first case of the coronavirus for the 81-year-old Biden. The last time he tested positive for Covid-19 was in 2022.
