In one of the hotels in Ternopil, a serviceman with the rank of major shot and killed a soldier of the State Border Service. He died of his wounds. The press secretary of the Specialized Prosecutor’s Office of the Western Region, Yulia Shevchenko, told hromadske about it in a commentary.
The event happened on the night of July 21. An officer from one of the military units fired several shots at a 25-year-old soldier of the State Border Service. They had a conflict based on jealousy. The border guard died on the spot from his injuries.
The officer was imprisoned. They are preparing to suspect him of premeditated murder and choose a preventive measure in the form of detention.
The resident of Ternopil, citing his own sources, writes that the mayor found his wife with her lover – the chief sergeant of one of the border detachments. The duped shot his opponent six times with the Glok-17 pistol attached to him.
