The reason for the closure of the Don-Donbass water pipeline is a power outage in Russia, including in the south.

Water supply to occupied Donetsk stopped due to power outage. We are talking about the Don-Donbass water pipeline. This was reported by the Center for National Resistance (CNS).

“Due to a power outage in Russia, the pumping stations of the new canal are out of order and the Don-Donbass water supply system has stopped for several months and the water situation in the occupied territories has worsened,” CNS said in a statement.

Residents of Donetsk report ongoing water shortages as the Seversky Donets-Donbass water pipeline is out of service due to the conflict.

To solve this problem, the invaders spent two years building a new water supply system from the Don, but its capacity did not solve the problem. In the past, water in Donetsk was supplied according to schedules.
