On Sunday morning, July 21, the enemy launched strikes using drones and missiles on targets in the Shostka district. Emergency services are working at the site of the strikes, and the consequences of the enemy attack are being clarified. This was reported by the Sumy Regional Military Administration on Telegram.
Sky defenders worked in the Kyiv region. A certain number of enemy drones were heading to Kyiv, but all of them were destroyed by air defense forces and means on the approaches. There were no destructions or casualties in the capital. In the Kyiv region, there was minor damage to the facade and windows of two private houses and a car.
It was loud at night in Poltava region as well. The regional military administration reported that the air defense was working on hostile targets. No damage to infrastructure was recorded, and no one was hurt as a result of the attack.
Recall that the day before, Russian military personnel attacked an energy infrastructure facility in Konotop, Sumy Oblast, with Shahed drones. The OVA stated that air defense forces destroyed one of the enemy drones, and the consequences of the enemy attack are being eliminated.
