In the village of Mirnopolye in the Bolgrad region, a 10-year-old boy died as a result of a fire that broke out on Saturday, July 20. This was reported by the Department of National Police and Odessa Region.
Law enforcement found the child playing in the garage and set fire to the hay that was drying in the room. He inhaled carbon monoxide and lost consciousness. Due to the fire, the boy received about 40% burns on his body and died before the doctors arrived.
At the time of the tragedy, the child’s parents were at work. Her 17-year-old brother, who was sleeping at the time, was supposed to take care of her.
There are three minors in the family. He was registered with Children’s Services as having found himself in difficult circumstances in life.
Earlier it was reported that a fuel tanker with gasoline caught fire in Nikolaev. The fire also spread to the motor transport enterprise building.
