Citizens and businesses can use the new hotline around the clock and free of charge.
In Ukraine, a government hotline called STRUM has begun operating, providing advice on energy issues. The Ministry of Energy announced this on Saturday, July 20.
It is indicated that both citizens and businesses can call 15-49 24 hours a day and free of charge.
“By contacting this phone line, you will find out how to increase the energy independence of your home or business, get information about government financial support programs for installing additional capacity in power generation and other current situational issues in the energy sector,” the message said.
The department noted that the purpose of introducing the government phone line STRUM is to provide citizens with the necessary and accessible information about the possibility of connecting alternative energy sources, receiving government financial support, detailed consultations and solving of problematic issues regarding the installation and connection of equipment. .
In the past, energy experts predicted that July would be the most difficult period for the Ukrainian energy system. Currently, nuclear power plants are undergoing scheduled maintenance.
In this regard, Prime Minister Denis Szmigal announced that the duration of the outages will soon be reduced.
