A man named Michael M. Wiseman was arrested on charges of making written threats to kill.
In the United States, law enforcement officers arrested a man and charged him with death threats on social networks against former American President Donald Trump and his vice presidential candidate JD Vance. This was reported by the Jupiter Police Department in Florida.
A man named Michael M. Wiseman was arrested Friday on charges of making written threats to kill.
“After investigating the suspect’s messages and Facebook account, police detectives determined that Wiseman made repeated threats against Trump and Vance, who earlier this week became the Republican Party’s nominees for president and vice president, respectively,” the police said.
It was indicated that Wiseman also allegedly threatened to cause bodily harm to members of the Trump and Vance families. The investigation of the case was carried out jointly with the US Secret Service, which provides protection to top state officials.
Wiseman’s arrest comes less than a week after an assassination attempt on Trump led to investigations into the security services that provide security for the politician.
After that, it became known that the United States had received intelligence information about Iran’s preparation of an assassination attempt on Trump.
