According to him, the former representative of the people was admitted to a medical facility in a deep cerebral coma and is now on a ventilator.
“For now, the main surgical treatment of the head wound has been carried out and the patient is undergoing treatment, we continue to fight for his life,” he said.
We remind you that in Lviv, on July 19, around 19.30, an unknown person fired a gun at a public figure and linguist near his home, after which he disappeared.
A special police operation is underway to nab the shooter. The “Blockage” plan was announced in Lvov.
Around 10 pm, several Telegram channels reported the shooting and detention of Irina Farion’s attacker. This information was denied by law enforcement officials.
The Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Igor Klimenko said that the attack on Irina Farion qualifies as attempted premeditated murder (Part 2 of Article 15, Part 1 of Article 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
We reported that on May 29, the Lviv Court of Appeal decided to reinstate Irina Farion as a professor in the Ukrainian language department at the Institute of Humanities at the National University of Lviv Polytechnic.
As you know, earlier on the air of the Rendezvous program with Yanina Sokolova, Farion criticized the Russian-speaking Ukrainian military, in particular, from the Third Assault Brigade (created on the basis of the Azov volunteer formation).
