NABU and SAP completed the investigation against the former Kyiv City Council representative and his accomplices. They are suspected of extorting bribes for appointment to the position of deputy director and then director of KP Rye market. The NABU press service reported this on Friday, July 19.
It was noted that in March 2021, the deputy, through an “interview” in his own antique shop, said that the cost of the appointment was 30 thousand US dollars. The deputy’s assistant clarified that this amount is only for the appointment, while the additional fee depends on the situation.

The former deputy has been on the international wanted list since June 2023. Since November 2022, he and five accomplices are responsible for receiving 1.39 million hryvnias for placing seasonal trade in the capital.
