This was the order of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrsky, and volunteers and public figures helped in developing the program. The General Staff of the Armed Forces reported this on Facebook on July 17.
It is noted that the program “Saving the Lives of Military Personnel” is a universal system for each unit, the key priority of which is saving the lives of our soldiers.
The command will pay special attention to improving the training of fighters and improving the quality of their training. The provision of medical care at all stages should also improve. In addition, the new program provides for the provision of rest for personnel performing combat missions and a number of other activities.
The General Staff emphasized that one of the important aspects of the program’s implementation is the actions of unit commanders, since they bear the greatest responsibility for preserving the lives of personnel.
We are fighting for our land, but the life of a Ukrainian soldier is the most important. A position can be returned, but not a life. Work on the practical implementation of the program will continue under the personal control of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, – the General Staff noted.
Let us recall that in June the Ukrainian fleet trained landing forces to land in the Black Sea “on an unequipped coast.” The fighters maneuvered and avoided enemy shelling, while simultaneously bypassing potentially dangerous areas.
