Just a few months after the release of “Armageddon,” aespa achieved a milestone never before achieved by any other female K-pop group.
aespa has achieved a new record! This is because, now, the formation composed of Karina, Winter, Giselle It is Ningninghold the title of the first female K-pop group of all time to place five albums in the top 40 of the Billboard 200, as reported by the Soompi portal.
That’s because, in the week ending July 20, “Armageddon” debuted on the Billboard 200 at number 25, following “Savage”, “Girls”, “MY WORLD” and “Drama”, albums that had already been among the top forty on the music chart that ranks the best-selling albums in the United States.
It is worth remembering that the record was achieved by aespa with all of their first albums and EPs, as the SM Entertainment group has been active since 2020.
As for “Armageddon”, the album was released on May 27th of this year with 10 tracks: “Supernova”, “Set The Tone”, “Mine”, “Licorice”, “BAHAMA”, “Long Chat (#♥)”, “Prologue”, “Live My Life”, “Melody” and “Armageddon”, the album’s title track. Listen again!
