30.1% of Poles consider the threat to the country’s security related to the current situation in Ukraine very good, and 39.9% – of an average level.
The fact that the current situation in Ukraine poses a threat to Poland’s sovereignty and independence is considered by 70% of the country’s population, and 30% consider the threat to be insignificant or non-existent. This is the data of the General Statistical Office (GUS) of Poland regarding public sentiment in the Republic of Poland in July, reports Ukrinform.
It was noted that 30.1% of Poles consider the threat to the country’s security related to the current situation in Ukraine very great, and 39.9% – of an average level. At the same time, 23.8% of respondents are convinced that this threat is insignificant, and 6.2% do not see such a threat.
73.4% of Poles are confident that the current situation in Ukraine threatens the economic situation in the Republic of Poland. At the same time, for 29.7% this threat is significant, for 43.7% it is average, and 26.6% is considered insignificant or completely absent.
We remind you that the overwhelming majority of Ukrainian citizens – 66% – believe that it is possible to defeat the aggressor country Russia by military means.
