The General Staff updated the losses of the Russian army in the war

During the day, 11 tanks, nine armored vehicles, 43 artillery systems, 31 drones and nine units of special equipment were destroyed.

From February 24, 2022 to July 17, 2024, the total combat losses of Russian troops on the territory of Ukraine was approximately 562,510 people (+1,110 per day). This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In addition, since the beginning of the war, the following were destroyed:

• 8238 (+11) tanks

• 15871 (+9) armored car

• 15411 (+43) artillery system

• 1120 (+1) MLRS

• 893 (+1) air defense system

• 361 (+0) aircraft

• 326 (+0) helicopters

• 12224 (+31) operational-tactical level UAVs

• 2398 (+0) cruise missiles

• 28 (+0) ship/boat

• 1 (+0) submarine

• 20741 (+61) units of automotive equipment and tank trucks

• 2586 (+9) units of special equipment.
