The incident occurred on July 10. A group of six people, including a 17-year-old Ukrainian, was standing near the pool in Zakrzówek Park. Four people approached the group, and a fight broke out between them. This was reported by local publications Gazeta Krakowska, Gazeta Wyborcza and Wiadomości.
It is noted that the Ukrainian teenager tried to stand up for his friend and was then brutally beaten. With the help of a machete, the guy’s finger was cut off and his head was pierced. Then he was thrown into the water.
After the fight, the attackers fled, and the 17-year-old victim was hospitalized with serious injuries.
Krakow law enforcement officers have already detained three men suspected of the attack. The youngest is 15 years old, and his accomplice is 17. The elder will be held accountable for the crime as an adult if his guilt is proven.
Let us recall that on February 11, 17-year-old Ukrainian basketball player Vladimir Ermakov died as a result of an attack in Dusseldorf, Germany. The attackers were detained.
And on February 15, in the city of Mattman, a man attacked a 15-year-old Ukrainian and hit him with an unidentified object.
