In the Vinnytsia region, border guards of the Mogilev-Podolsk detachment noticed a man trying to swim across the Dniester to reach the coast of the neighboring country. The State Border Guard Service reported this on July 16.
The man was caught in the fast current. Swimming closer, border guards pulled the man from the water and administered first aid.

A report is made against the violator for attempting to cross the border illegally, and the case is sent to court.
