On the night of July 16, a UAV dropped an explosive device on the plant’s territory. As a result of the attack, none of the workers “were hurt.” The Russians traditionally blamed Ukraine for the attack. The acting governor, Alexey Smirnov, made a corresponding statement on Telegram.
According to the Russian Telegram channel Baza, the area of the fire in one of the technological shops was 400 square meters. Fire crews from two districts were called in to fight the fire.
As is known, the Korenevsky Plant of Low Voltage Equipment produces products for the energy sector and other sectors of the Russian industry.
Let us recall that on the night of July 15, as a result of a drone attack, there were hits on a Russian military unit in the area of Cape Fiolent in occupied Crimea, where a division of S-400/S-300 anti-aircraft missile systems was located. The Crimean Wind community reported damage to one of the radar stations, as well as an explosion at the S-400 position.
