The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation has said that Ukraine is allegedly preparing to deliberately blow up the Kryvyi Rih thermal power plant to blame Russia for it.
“The Ukrainian command has deliberately deployed its armed formations at the Krivoy Rog thermal power plant (the city of Zelenodolsk). It is possible that, in failure to provoke the Russian armed forces to strike at the Kryvyi Rih thermal power plant, the Ukrainian nationalists themselves can blow up the elements of the power plant, ”the Russian ministry said.

DTEK’s press service said the Russian Foreign Ministry’s message was fake.
“There are no weapons in the territory of the industrial business and it has not yet happened. Only employees of the thermal power plant are present at the station, ensuring its operation,” the report said.
The company has once again drawn the attention of the world community to Russia’s war crimes in Ukraine and targeted attacks being prepared against critical infrastructure facilities.
