Dmitry Pletenchuk recalled that the Russian Federation has been destroying the Syrian people for a long time, and also has interests in Africa.

The Russians continue to withdraw caliber carriers to the Mediterranean Sea to continue the genocide of Syrians. This is what the spokesman of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Dmitry Pletenchuk, said on the air of the United News telethon.

The Russians in the Mediterranean Sea have a permanent operational group of the Russian Navy in Tartus (Syria).

“I remind you that there has been a conflict going on there for many years, where the Russian Federation is directly involved and, possibly, organizing it where they also destroy the people of other countries. In principle, that is what they usually do, ” explained the Navy representative.

He recalled that the Russians also have geopolitical interests in Africa. The Russian fleet periodically calls at other ports, where it is still welcomed.

“To say that there are certain objectives. Most likely, they (Caliber carriers – ed.) may use them at some point to continue the genocide of the Syrian people,” the spokesman explained.

Earlier, Dmitry Pletenchuk said that the Russian invaders lost 58 watercraft in the south of Ukraine in one month.
