“I want to thank the United States Secret Service and all law enforcement for their quick response to the shooting that took place in Butler, Pennsylvania,” Trump said.
He said he was injured on the upper part of his right ear and lost a lot of blood.
“I was shot by a bullet that pierced the top of my right ear. I knew immediately that something was wrong because I heard a whistling sound, gunshots, and immediately felt the bullet pierce the skin. I started bleeding hard,” Trump said.
Donald Trump expressed his condolences to the families of a man who was shot and killed and another person who was critically injured.
“It’s unbelievable that this could happen in our country,” said the politician.
The US presidential candidate also wrote that the attacker who opened fire was killed, but there is no information about him yet.
