There are enough “normal people, especially military people” in Ukraine with whom you can negotiate, believes Alexander Lukashenko.
The formal leader of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, plans to discuss “problems” in Ukraine with Russian dictator Vladimir Putin in the near future. He said this in a meeting with the military on Saturday, July 13.
“I think Putin and I will discuss these problems (in Ukraine – ed.) in the near future and think about how we can proceed,” Lukashenko said.
He believes that there are enough “normal people, especially the military” in Ukraine.
“The Russians are ready to sit at the negotiating table and have an agreement and compromise,” he said and added that “the Ukrainians, pushed by NATO, are fighting.”
Earlier, Alexander Lukashenko said that Ukraine “will still be ours” and “will not go anywhere.” In his opinion, Ukraine is fading into the background for the United States.
Lukashenko also explained why Belarus is not fighting against Ukraine. He estimated the grouping of troops of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the section of the border with Belarus at 120 thousand fighters.
