The statistics of losses for these two months reached the highest values for the entire war. The average daily losses of the aggressor country in killed and wounded in May and June amounted to 1,262 and 1,163 infidels, respectively. British intelligence links the increase in Russia’s combat losses to the opening of a new front in the Kharkov region while maintaining activity in other areas.
