The Cabinet of Ministers has simplified the procedure for granting and revoking the status of combatant to individuals. The corresponding decision has already been made. This was reported on July 12 by the Minister of Digital Transformation Mikhail Fyodorov in Telegram.
Now, to apply for the status of a UBD, you need to contact either a special commission or a military unit. Soon, all this can be done through the Action portal in a few clicks.
The Action app now offers UBD IDs for military personnel and their families.
The minister stressed that officials are working to ensure that defenders “don’t have to stand in lines and waste time on paperwork.”
And the representative of the Cabinet of Ministers in the Verkhovna Rada Taras Melnychuk informed on Telegram that the government has simplified the procedure for granting and depriving persons of the status of a participant in military operations. Applications can be submitted in paper form through administrative service centers, regardless of the registered place of residence. It is also envisaged to receive and transfer an application with the necessary documents via an electronic account.
Let us recall that on June 18, an electronic military registration document became available in the mobile application “Reserve+”. The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine stated that the document in the application has the same legal force as a paper one. Authorized bodies can check its validity by scanning the QR code.
