The Russian Federation does not intend to participate in the second Peace Summit to resolve the situation in Ukraine.

    .

The location of the second summit has not yet been determined. However, Moscow has already stated that “geography is not important, but the content is important, and everything is quite clear about it.” The aggressor considers the Ukrainian Peace Formula “a dead-end and an ultimatum.” This was stated by Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia Mikhail Galuzin, Russian propaganda media report.

We do not accept such ultimatums and do not intend to participate in such summits, he noted.

Moscow also complained about the deliberate ignoring of other initiatives to end the war in Ukraine. They also believe that Ukraine and its allies want to “rehabilitate” themselves for the alleged failure in Switzerland with the second Summit.

Let us recall that on July 11, Bloomberg reported that Kyiv wants to convene a second Peace Summit with Russia’s participation before the US elections, which are scheduled to take place in November of this year.

The first peace summit took place in June in Switzerland, with 100 countries and international organizations taking part. The final document of the summit has already been signed by 90 countries.
