Police are looking for a 26-year-old man, the ex-boyfriend of one of the journalist’s daughters.
In the UK, police have placed 26-year-old Kyle Clifford on a nationwide wanted list. A man is suspected of killing three women, family members of a BBC radio sports commentator, with a crossbow, the BBC reports.
The women were killed in a house in the town of Bush in the English county of Hertfordshire. Law enforcement officials discovered their bodies on the night of July 9.
According to media reports, the victims of the triple murder were the wife and two daughters of BBC radio sports commentator John Hunt – Carol Hunt (61 years old), Hannah Hunt (28 years old) and Louise Hunt ( 25 years old). John Hunt is a former police officer and current race commentator on BBC 5 Live.
The husband was late for work, and when he got home he saw a startling picture. His 61-year-old wife and two daughters lay in pools of blood. Hunt tried to administer first aid, but it was too late. The women were tied up and brutally shot with a sporting crossbow.
Kyle Clifford, 26, is wanted in connection with the attack and is the ex-girlfriend of one of Hunt’s children.
Investigators are looking into the reasons for the cold-blooded murder. It is known that the journalist’s third daughter survived;
Police appealed to the public to help find the attacker, warning that he was in possession of a crossbow and may have other weapons.
Recall that in March in London, a 47-year-old man was injured by two people with an arrow. In January, police shot and killed a man armed with a crossbow in London.
