The enemy used air strike and missile strike tactics in the rear because they did not succeed in advancing on the ground.

Ukraine’s armed forces gradually pushed the enemy back to the south, the occupiers rolled the lines of retreat. This was stated by the head of the Joint Coordinating Press Center of the Defense Forces of the South of Ukraine, Natalya Gumenyuk, at a briefing at the Ukraine Media Center, reports Ukrinform.

“We are constantly conducting battle, the enemy is consolidating his lines of retreat, equipping not only the second, third, but also the reserve lines, as we are gradually pushing him back. “However, from time to time, they try to reclaim their position and carry out small sorties, attacks to drive us away from the liberated territories,” Gumenyuk said.

He also said the enemy was using air strike and missile strike tactics in the deep rear.

“Unsuccessful in advancing on earth, they are trying to push from heaven, where we are weaker,” he said.

It will be recalled that Natalia Gumenyuk had earlier named the factors hindering the operation to free Kherson.
