These watercraft have been put into service by the Ukrainian Marine Guard. The watercraft are already being used on the sea and river sections of the border for protection and defense, and are also being used to ensure the safety of the sea corridor in the Black Sea. The State Border Service reported this on July 9 in Telegram.
These boats are equipped with modern navigation, control, automatic fire extinguishing systems and video surveillance cameras. This makes them maneuverable, fast and ergonomic.
The State Defense Service of Ukraine reported that the boats were transferred as part of a joint project with the ODC Department of Defense Cooperation and with the active support of the Export Control and Border Security Program EXBS.
Let us recall that in June, the Ukrainian Navy conducted exercises in the Black Sea to land troops “on an unequipped coast.” A group of troops in combat gear redeployed from one coast to another, maneuvering and avoiding enemy shelling, while simultaneously bypassing potentially dangerous areas.
