According to preliminary data from Security Service investigators, the occupiers used a strategic cruise missile Kh-101 for this strike. This was reported by the SBU press center.
Corresponding evidence has already been found at the site of the tragedy, in particular:
- fragments of the rear body of the X-101 missile with a serial number;
- part of the steering wheel of the same rocket.
The Security Service will do everything possible to ensure that the enemy feels maximum retribution for each of its war crimes, including today’s attack on Ukraine. This retribution will be both legal and moral, – emphasized the head of the SBU Vasyl Malyuk. – A terrorist state is not an abstract concept. There are specific names of the murderers. And nothing will save them from justice.
It is noted that as of 15:00, 16 people were known to have been injured, including three children. Two hospital workers were killed.
A criminal case has been opened under Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code (violations of the laws and customs of war, combined with premeditated murder), and the investigation is ongoing.
